The Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) shows its support for León’s candidacy to host the European Union’s Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre.
León meets the best technical and location requirements. It is the headquarters of the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute, INCIBE, since 2006, and has an important business, university and research network that demonstrates its firm commitment to cybersecurity and its technologies.
Locating the European Union’s Cybersecurity Centre in León would be a great opportunity for the region, Spain and Europe. TEDAE, made up of eighty-five high-tech companies, whose industrial activity converges in the cybersecurity sector, both in the civil and defence fields, has solid elements of evidence to support León’s excellent candidacy.
Aware of its transcendence and in the firm conviction that the achievement of León’s candidacy will mean a consolidation of the Spanish cybersecurity ecosystem and, at the same time, a differential advance in the digital and cybersecurity agenda of the European Union, TEDAE expresses with satisfaction its support to León’s candidacy to host the European Union’s Cybersecurity Industrial, Technology and Research Competence Centre.
