REACH<\/strong> (Reglamento n\u00ba 1907\/2006 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo) es el Reglamento europeo relativo al registro, la evaluaci\u00f3n, la autorizaci\u00f3n y la restricci\u00f3n de las sustancias y preparados qu\u00edmicos<\/strong> (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals). Fue aprobado el 18 de diciembre de 2006 y entr\u00f3 en vigor el 1 de junio de 2007.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Este Reglamento supone una reforma total del marco legislativo sobre sustancias y preparados qu\u00edmicos en la Uni\u00f3n Europea<\/strong>. Su principal objetivo es garantizar un alto nivel de protecci\u00f3n de la salud humana y el medio ambiente<\/strong>. Para ello, introduce la obligaci\u00f3n de efectuar un registro de todas las sustancias qu\u00edmicas que se comercializan dentro del territorio de la Uni\u00f3n Europea. A partir de su entrada en vigor, no se podr\u00e1 comercializar ninguna sustancia que no se encuentre registrada.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

REACH<\/strong> atribuye a la industria la responsabilidad de gestionar los riesgos asociados a las sustancias qu\u00edmicas. Se basa en el principio de que corresponde a los fabricantes, importadores y usuarios intermedios garantizar que s\u00f3lo fabrican, comercializan o usan sustancias que no afectan negativamente a la salud humana<\/strong> o al medio ambiente.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Este Reglamento incrementar\u00e1 la informaci\u00f3n existente sobre las sustancias qu\u00edmicas y sus riesgos asociados y la transmitir\u00e1 a usuarios y consumidores.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
