{"id":4398,"date":"2023-06-16T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-16T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tedae.org\/2023\/06\/16\/lanzado-con-exito-gei-sat-precursor-un-satelite-espanol-para-la-deteccion-de-metano\/"},"modified":"2024-04-02T10:48:30","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T10:48:30","slug":"lanzado-con-exito-gei-sat-precursor-un-satelite-espanol-para-la-deteccion-de-metano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tedae.org\/en\/espacio\/lanzado-con-exito-gei-sat-precursor-un-satelite-espanol-para-la-deteccion-de-metano\/","title":{"rendered":"Lanzado con \u00e9xito GEI-SAT Precursor, un sat\u00e9lite espa\u00f1ol para la detecci\u00f3n de metano"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<ul> SATLANTIS marca otro hito con el lanzamiento de GEI-SAT Precursor, la misi\u00f3n actualmente m\u00e1s precisa para la detecci\u00f3n de metano.<\/ul>\n<ul> El sat\u00e9lite es un tipo de peque\u00f1o sat\u00e9lite, llamado CubeSat, cuyo coraz\u00f3n es el instrumento \u00f3ptico iSIM-90, una peque\u00f1a c\u00e1mara capaz de proporcionar im\u00e1genes de alta resoluci\u00f3n para la Observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra.<\/ul>\n<ul> El lanzamiento se llev\u00f3 a cabo con \u00e9xito el lunes 12 de junio a las 23:35, hora local en Espa\u00f1a, cuando el cohete Falcon 9 despeg\u00f3 en la misi\u00f3n Transporter-8 con el sat\u00e9lite GEI-SAT Precursor a bordo.<\/ul>\n<p>Tras el exitoso despliegue de su anterior sat\u00e9lite, hace casi exactamente un a\u00f1o, SATLANTIS, el proveedor l\u00edder mundial de tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas de Observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra, anuncia su cuarta misi\u00f3n con el lanzamiento del sat\u00e9lite GEI-SAT Precursor desde California.<\/p>\n<p>El 12 de junio 2023 a las 23:35 hora local en Espa\u00f1a se llev\u00f3 a cabo el lanzamiento del que ser\u00e1 una misi\u00f3n con capacidades \u00fanicas para la monitorizaci\u00f3n de emisiones de metano (un gas de efecto invernadero altamente potente conocido por su impacto significativo en el calentamiento global).<\/p>\n<p>GEI-SAT Precursor viaj\u00f3 en la misi\u00f3n Transporter-8 de SpaceX a bordo de un cohete Falcon 9, un vuelo compartido con otros sat\u00e9lites de peque\u00f1as dimensiones, a una \u00f3rbita helio sincr\u00f3nica de 520 km de altura, desde el Complejo de Lanzamiento Espacial 4E (SLC-4E) en la Vandenberg Space Force Base (Base de la Fuerza Espacial) en California.<\/p>\n<p>La noche del lanzamiento, tras la cuenta atr\u00e1s y un despegue sin incidencias, el cohete Falcon 9 alcanz\u00f3 la \u00f3rbita prevista tras lo cual continu\u00f3 con el despliegue de todos sus pasajeros durante 25 minutos y a m\u00e1s de 27.500 km\/h de velocidad.<\/p>\n<p>GEI-SAT Precursor se separ\u00f3 de la etapa superior del cohete con \u00e9xito 1 hora y 47 segundos despu\u00e9s del inicio del lanzamiento, tal y como estaba previsto.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de SATLANTIS celebr\u00f3 con entusiasmo el crucial hito de la separaci\u00f3n del sat\u00e9lite, marcando el trascendental punto de transici\u00f3n entre la exitosa misi\u00f3n de SpaceX y el comienzo de la verdadera misi\u00f3n del sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUn peque\u00f1o paso para la humanidad.
