Se trata del principal Sal\u00f3n del sector satelital a nivel internacional. Para ello, ha contado con el apoyo del ICEX, as\u00ed como con la cofinanciaci\u00f3n de Fondos europeos FEDER, contribuyendo seg\u00fan la medida de los mismos, al crecimiento del sector defensa, aeron\u00e1utica y espacio y de Espa\u00f1a en su conjunto.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco de este evento, tuvo lugar una jornada de cooperaci\u00f3n industrial en el sector de Espacio entre EE.UU. y Espa\u00f1a, organizada por la Oficina Comercial de la Embajada de Espa\u00f1a en Washington con la colaboraci\u00f3n de TEDAE. Diego Rodr\u00edguez, miembro de la Comisi\u00f3n de Espacio de TEDAE, particip\u00f3 en esta jornada con una intervenci\u00f3n sobre la industria espacial espa\u00f1ola en la que explic\u00f3 que en el a\u00f1o 2020 la esta industria gener\u00f3 unos ingresos de 1.100 millones de d\u00f3lares y gener\u00f3 4.773 empleos directos, lo que representa el 7% de las ventas y el 7,9% del empleo a nivel europeo, seg\u00fan cifras de <em>Eurospace<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>El congreso Satellite se cre\u00f3 en 1981 con el objetivo de conectar la industria del sat\u00e9lite. Durante los \u00faltimos 41 a\u00f1os, ha ido ampliando su contenido para abarcar a profesionales en mercados comerciales que se benefician de la tecnolog\u00eda y las aplicaciones satelitales, como radiodifusi\u00f3n, medios y entretenimiento, militar, aviaci\u00f3n, telecomunicaciones y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Satellite es reconocido como el evento m\u00e1s cr\u00edtico e inclusivo del mundo en lo que a espacio y sat\u00e9lites se refiere.
