La turbina, que ha sido dise\u00f1ada, producida y ensamblada en ITP Aero, se montar\u00e1 en el motor demostrador completo en las instalaciones de Rolls-Royce en Derby (Reino Unido) en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas. Una vez ensamblado, el motor se someter\u00e1 a sus primeras pruebas en el nuevo banco de ensayos Testbed80 de Rolls-Royce en Derby en 2022. Las primeras pruebas se realizar\u00e1n con combustible de aviaci\u00f3n 100% sostenible (SAF por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s). <\/p>\n<p>El UltraFan es un motor de nueva generaci\u00f3n que ser\u00e1 un 25% m\u00e1s eficiente en cuanto a consumo de combustible en comparaci\u00f3n a la primera generaci\u00f3n de motores Tren actualmente en servicio. UltraFan es un elemento clave de la estrategia de sostenibilidad de ITP Aero como parte de su compromiso de seguir mejorando la eficiencia de las turbinas de gas. Las turbinas de gas seguir\u00e1n siendo necesarias en una industria aeron\u00e1utica post-Covid, ya que siguen siendo la forma m\u00e1s eficiente de transportar personas a largas distancias. ITP Aero tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 desarrollando tecnolog\u00edas clave que sentar\u00e1n las bases de los motores aeron\u00e1uticos h\u00edbridos-el\u00e9ctricos y propulsados por hidr\u00f3geno, en l\u00ednea con su estrategia de aviaci\u00f3n sostenible a medio\/largo plazo. <\/p>\n<p>UltraFan puede ampliarse para crear una familia de motores capaces de propulsar aviones de pasillo \u00fanico y doble pasillo. Este motor de nueva generaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 configurado bajo una nueva arquitectura y materiales compuestos ligeros, e incluye la caja de cambios aeron\u00e1utica m\u00e1s potente del mundo. El demostrador de UltraFan ser\u00e1 el motor m\u00e1s grande del mercado, con un di\u00e1metro de fan (ventilador frontal) de 140 pulgadas, un tren est\u00e1ndar de metro podr\u00eda pasar por el c\u00edrculo del fan. <\/p>\n<p>En cuanto al papel de ITP Aero en el desarrollo del motor UltraFan, Erlantz Crist\u00f3bal, Director Ejecutivo de Tecnolog\u00eda e Ingenier\u00eda de ITP Aero, coment\u00f3: \u00abLa entrega de la primera IPT para el demostrador UltraFan es un hito de gran importancia para nosotros.
