Est\u00e1 totalmente integrado en Airbus Defence and Space.<\/p>\n<p>La nueva estaci\u00f3n Lunar Gateway, cuyo lanzamiento est\u00e1 previsto para 2024, contar\u00e1 inicialmente con dos m\u00f3dulos y se ampliar\u00e1 en a\u00f1os sucesivos a cinco. La estaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 destinada a servir de laboratorio espacial, as\u00ed como de puesto log\u00edstico intermedio para futuros viajes a la superficie de la Luna y a Marte. Los dos m\u00f3dulos iniciales se denominan PPE y HALO. PPE (Power and Propulsion Element) cuenta con paneles solares que alimentan la estaci\u00f3n y propulsores que le permiten mantener una \u00f3rbita estable alrededor de la Luna. HALO es el m\u00f3dulo habitacional y log\u00edstico donde vivir\u00e1n los astronautas durante los 40 d\u00edas que se estima durar\u00e1n las primeras misiones.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEste contrato, por valor de m\u00e1s de 50 millones de d\u00f3lares, refleja nuestra capacidad para suministrar equipos espaciales altamente especializados a fabricantes de todo el mundo y es nuestra primera contribuci\u00f3n a la estaci\u00f3n orbital Lunar Gateway, que forma parte del programa Artemis de la NASA para regresar a la Luna \u00ab, dijo Fernando G\u00f3mez-Carpintero, CEO de Airbus Crisa. \u00abSe trata de un paso emocionante, ya que Airbus Crisa est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ando el PMAD para que se convierta en el sistema de gesti\u00f3n de energ\u00eda modular est\u00e1ndar para todas las futuras estaciones espaciales y veh\u00edculos humanos. Hemos aportado una soluci\u00f3n disruptiva, con un concepto arquitect\u00f3nico nunca visto en el sector. Esto sienta las bases de un nuevo est\u00e1ndar internacional, situando a la empresa en la vanguardia del sector\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El PMAD cuenta con cuatro unidades de potencia y gestionar\u00e1 la electricidad procedente de los paneles solares del Elemento de Potencia y Propulsi\u00f3n (PPE). Distribuir\u00e1 la energ\u00eda a los equipos de a bordo y al resto de la estaci\u00f3n seg\u00fan sea necesario, garantizando siempre la seguridad de la tripulaci\u00f3n a bordo. El PMAD alimentar\u00e1 el sistema de soporte vital, la iluminaci\u00f3n interior, los sistemas de comunicaci\u00f3n y los experimentos cient\u00edficos. Garantizar\u00e1 que la bater\u00eda de HALO se mantenga en niveles \u00f3ptimos y est\u00e9 lista para ser utilizada cuando los paneles no reciban suficiente luz solar. El PMAD tambi\u00e9n debe proporcionar energ\u00eda a los veh\u00edculos visitantes cuando se acoplen.<\/p>\n<p>Airbus Crisa es un actor internacional clave en los campos de la conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, el control digital y la gesti\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda para aplicaciones de sat\u00e9lites y lanzadores, gracias a la experiencia adquirida en las exigentes misiones de exploraci\u00f3n de la ESA.
