Inmarsat-6 F1 se basa en la plataforma ultrafiable Eurostar E3000 de Airbus y ser\u00e1 el 54\u00ba Eurostar E3000 lanzado. Ser\u00e1 el quinto Eurostar en \u00f3rbita equipado con propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica para la elevaci\u00f3n de la \u00f3rbita, reforzando la posici\u00f3n de Airbus como l\u00edder mundial en propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n<p>La reducci\u00f3n de la masa mediante el uso de la propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica permite una misi\u00f3n de doble carga \u00fatil (banda Ka y L) con una carga \u00fatil excepcionalmente grande de pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n procesada digitalmente, lo que proporciona una mayor flexibilidad a Inmarsat, el principal proveedor de servicios globales de comunicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil por sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n<p>Fran\u00e7ois Gaullier, Responsable de Telecom Systems en Airbus, dijo: \u00abInmarsat-6 F1 cuenta con una de las cargas \u00fatiles m\u00e1s sofisticadas de procesamiento digital que jam\u00e1s hayamos construido y ofrece una flexibilidad, una capacidad y una aptitud extraordinarias. Como proveedor de Inmarsat desde hace mucho tiempo, habiendo construido los sat\u00e9lites Inmarsat-4 y Alphasat, Airbus se enorgullece de seguir ayudando a mantener a Inmarsat en la cima de su negocio con este cambio de capacidad que aporta Inmarsat-6\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Inmarsat-6 cuenta con una gran antena de 9 m de apertura en banda L y nueve antenas multihaz en banda Ka, y presenta un alto nivel de flexibilidad y conectividad. El procesador digital modular de nueva generaci\u00f3n proporciona una flexibilidad total de enrutamiento en hasta 8.000 canales y una asignaci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica de potencia a m\u00e1s de 200 haces puntuales en banda L. Los haces puntuales en banda Ka ser\u00e1n orientables sobre todo el disco terrestre, con una asignaci\u00f3n flexible de canales a haces.<\/p>\n<p>Con una mayor capacidad y flexibilidad, el sat\u00e9lite permitir\u00e1 a Inmarsat ofrecer servicios m\u00e1s avanzados en banda L, incluyendo servicios m\u00f3viles de muy bajo coste y aplicaciones IoT a los clientes actuales y futuros del sector de la movilidad en tierra, mar y aire. Inmarsat-6 complementar\u00e1 y mejorar\u00e1 los servicios en banda L ofrecidos por ELERA (*) y se embarcar\u00e1 una misi\u00f3n en banda Ka para aumentar el servicio de banda ancha de alta velocidad de Inmarsat disponible en todo el mundo: Global Xpress.<\/p>\n<p>Las inversiones realizadas por Airbus en las tecnolog\u00edas de plataforma y carga \u00fatil utilizadas en Inmarsat-6 cuentan con el apoyo de la Agencia Espacial Europea y de agencias nacionales, en particular la Agencia Espacial del Reino Unido y el CNES.
