La Armada griega, miembro de la OTAN desde 1952, ha firmado un importante acuerdo con Altus LSA en Grecia y Alpha Unmanned Systems (AUS) en Espa\u00f1a para la compra de cinco nuevos helic\u00f3pteros UAV Alpha 900 para el uso a bordo de sus buques con el objetivo de mejorar la seguridad y vigilancia mar\u00edtima. Este es el primer cliente importante y destacado miembro de la OTAN para AUS que adquiere el Alpha 900, y refuerza las perspectivas de este producto y su posicionamiento en un mercado tan competitivo.<\/p>\n

El nuevo Alpha 900 puede despegar verticalmente desde una embarcaci\u00f3n en movimiento y aterrizar de forma aut\u00f3noma en un buque de la armada, requiriendo poco espacio para realizar estas dos operaciones esenciales. Tambi\u00e9n puede volar durante un periodo de tiempo m\u00e1s largo que otros UAV de tama\u00f1o similar (hasta 4 horas y transportar cargas \u00fatiles de hasta 4 kg). Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 construido \u00abStanag Compliant\u00bb, con el objetivo de que todos los sistemas cr\u00edticos sean redundantes.
