El Teniente General Montenegro ha aportado su punto de vista sobre la situaci\u00f3n actual de la <strong>OTAN<\/strong>, repasando sus m\u00e1s de 70 a\u00f1os de historia hasta llegar a la actualidad en el contexto post-Covid, afirmando que la OTAN ha sabido adaptarse a las circunstancias. En estos momentos se trabaja con intensidad de cara a la <strong>Cumbre de l\u00edderes<\/strong> que se celebrar\u00e1 este a\u00f1o y en la que participar\u00e1, por primera vez, el nuevo presidente de Estados Unidos, Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Con respecto a la <strong>Uni\u00f3n Europea<\/strong>, el Teniente General Montenegro ha destacado las numerosas actividades puestas en marcha en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os para alcanzar la autonom\u00eda estrat\u00e9gica. Se ha referido al <strong>EDF (European Defence Fund) 2021-2027<\/strong> y la <strong>European Peace Facility<\/strong>, el nuevo fondo extrapresupuestario, con una dotaci\u00f3n de 5.000 millones de euros, as\u00ed como a la necesidad de seguir avanzando en el entorno que representa la <strong>PESCO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n, la Vicepresidenta de Defensa de TEDAE inici\u00f3 un <strong>coloquio<\/strong> con las empresas de la Comisi\u00f3n donde tuvieron la posibilidad de compartir con el Teniente General Montenegro sus dudas e inquietudes.
