El 12 de marzo tendr\u00e1 lugar el workshop virtual sobre sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n por sat\u00e9lite y el 5G, organizado por GMV y la Agencia Espacial Europea. Este encuentro girar\u00e1 en torno al potencial de esta tecnolog\u00eda de red inal\u00e1mbrica de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo los sistemas GNSS contribuyen a su desarrollo y despliegue.<\/p>\n

GMV acumula una dilatada experiencia en proyectos para los sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n europeos, Galileo y EGNOS. Actualmente, la compa\u00f1\u00eda lidera el consorcio del proyecto europeo GINTO5G, con la misi\u00f3n de integrar los sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n por sat\u00e9lite actuales en las redes inal\u00e1mbricas 5G, para obtener datos de posicionamiento de alta precisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Dentro del programa de este workshop se tratar\u00e1n los avances logrados en el marco de GINTO5G; asimismo habr\u00e1 un espacio dedicado a la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de esta tecnolog\u00eda de comunicaciones, el 6G.<\/p>\n

El evento contar\u00e1 con la participaci\u00f3n del sector acad\u00e9mico, industrial e institucional.<\/p>\n

GNSS & 5G workshop (English)<\/u><\/p>\n

The virtual workshop \u00abGNSS and 5G\u00bb, jointly organized by GMV and the European Space Agency and to be held on 12 March, will be looking at the potential of this latest-generation wireless technology and how GNSS might contribute towards its development and rollout.<\/p>\n

GMV has built up a wealth of experience in Europe\u2019s Galileo and EGNOS satellite systems. It is currently leading the consortium of the European project GINTO5G, with the remit of integrating navigation satellite systems with wireless 5G networks in order to obtain high-precision positioning data.<\/p>\n

This workshop\u2019s program will be dealing with the GINTO5G breakthroughs; it will also be looking ahead to the next generation of this communication technology, 6G.<\/p>\n

The event will also be attended by academics, industrialists and institutional representatives.<\/p>\n
