En concreto, Airbus actuar\u00e1 como el socio l\u00edder del citado consorcio.<\/p>\n<p>El Programa SPAINSAT NG incluye dos sat\u00e9lites, Spainsat NG I y II, que se ubicar\u00e1n en dos posiciones orbitales diferentes y operar\u00e1n en las bandas X, Ka militar y UHF.  <\/p>\n<p>El primero de los sat\u00e9lites de la nueva generaci\u00f3n SPAINSAT NG se lanzar\u00e1 en 2023, garantizando la continuidad de los servicios de comunicaciones seguras del Ministerio de Defensa espa\u00f1ol y las Agencias Gubernamentales, que utilizan la flota existente en la actualidad.<\/p>\n<p>El sistema SPAINSAT NG proporcionar\u00e1 cobertura de una extensa \u00e1rea mundial que abarca desde los Estados Unidos y Sudam\u00e9rica, hasta Oriente Medio, incluyendo \u00c1frica y Europa y llegando hasta Singapur en el continente asi\u00e1tico. Ambos sat\u00e9lites permitir\u00e1n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Asegurar los sistemas de mando y control en operaciones m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la l\u00ednea de visualizaci\u00f3n en 2\/3 de la Tierra.<\/li>\n<li>Garantizar la capacidad de comunicaci\u00f3n en teatros de operaciones carentes de infraestructura de comunicaciones.<\/li>\n<li>Mejorar las comunicaciones satelitales en movimiento, mayor capacidad, comunicaciones m\u00e1s seguras y garantizadas.<\/li>\n<li>Expandir el potencial de trabajo en red durante las operaciones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La Industria Espa\u00f1ola proporcionar\u00e1 las cargas \u00fatiles de comunicaciones de ambos sat\u00e9lites, incluyendo la integraci\u00f3n del M\u00f3dulo de Comunicaciones en Espa\u00f1a, lo que significa un gran paso de la misma. Airbus en Espa\u00f1a ser\u00e1 responsable de la carga \u00fatil en banda X, mientras que Thales Alenia Space en Espa\u00f1a se encargar\u00e1 de las cargas en las bandas UHF y Ka militar. Tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1n involucradas otras compa\u00f1\u00edas espaciales de nuestro pa\u00eds lo que supone la creaci\u00f3n de empleo cualificado, as\u00ed como importantes retornos tecnol\u00f3gicos para nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Las comunicaciones en banda UHF suponen una nueva capacidad que no estaba disponible en la actual flota SpainSAT. Ambos sat\u00e9lites ofrecer\u00e1n redundancia en zonas de inter\u00e9s para las Fuerzas Armadas espa\u00f1olas, incorporar\u00e1n tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas de protecci\u00f3n contra intentos de interferencia (anti-jamming) y de suplantaci\u00f3n (anti-spoofing), y estar\u00e1n reforzados y protegidos contra fen\u00f3menos nucleares a gran altitud.<\/p>\n<p>Los sat\u00e9lites se basar\u00e1n en la plataforma Eurostar Neo, el nuevo producto para sat\u00e9lites de telecomunicaciones geoestacionarios de Airbus, una evoluci\u00f3n notable de la serie Eurostar, muy fiable y exitosa, que incorpora una amplia gama de importantes novedades. Entre ellas figuran una carga \u00fatil totalmente flexible en banda X que utiliza antenas activas con capacidad de reconfiguraci\u00f3n en \u00f3rbita, un procesador digital de a bordo que interconectar\u00e1 las cargas \u00fatiles en banda X y Ka militar para permitir el cruce de bandas, y un enlace de servicio de alta velocidad dedicado que facilitar\u00e1 una r\u00e1pida reconfiguraci\u00f3n. Como resultado, se dispondr\u00e1 de mayor capacidad y flexibilidad, haciendo posible la reorientaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica de los haces en funci\u00f3n de las necesidades de cobertura.<\/p>\n<p>Hisdesat es el propietario y operador de la Nueva Generaci\u00f3n de sat\u00e9lites de comunicaciones, SPAINSAT NG. El principal cliente es el Ministerio de Defensa espa\u00f1ol, que mantiene un modelo de colaboraci\u00f3n p\u00fablico-privada (PPT) con Hisdesat. Los nuevos sat\u00e9lites ofrecer\u00e1n capacidades a otras entidades gubernamentales espa\u00f1olas, aliados y pa\u00edses amigos con acuerdos bilaterales, el programa de comunicaciones gubernamentales de la UE, \u201cGovsatcom\u201d, y se espera tambi\u00e9n en un futuro, que contribuir\u00e1 al paquete de capacidades para sat\u00e9lites de comunicaciones, NATO CP130.
